Web Design in Cancun

Your Cancun website competes with Booking, with Expedia and with the chain next door that has an in-house marketing team. It cannot be a brochure.

Why Brewed?

A site that wins back direct bookings

In Cancun nearly every tourism business hands fifteen to twenty-five percent of each booking to a third-party platform. That is the real cost your website should be attacking, and most sites do not, because they were built as an attractive catalog instead of a sales channel. The visitor landing on your page already saw you on a platform and is comparing: if your site loads slowly, hides pricing, is not in their language or demands a form just to see availability, they go back to the platform and book there. A site built properly for this market shows availability and pricing openly, has a booking engine that works on a phone, carries English written by a human rather than machine translated, and gives a concrete reason to book direct. That last part is what almost nobody works on and the only thing that truly moves the needle.

  • ✓Pricing and availability visible, with no form in the way
  • ✓A booking engine that works properly on mobile, where people buy
  • ✓English written, not auto-translated from Spanish
  • ✓A clear, real benefit for booking direct, not just a button

What else we do for businesses in Cancun

01

Selling dated capacity is not selling products

E-commerce in Cancun follows a logic that store templates do not solve on their own. What you sell is perishable inventory: twenty seats on Tuesday tour, a room that night, a table at eight.

02

Here downtime is measured in lost bookings

Website maintenance carries different weight in a market where the site takes money. If your booking engine stops responding on a high-season Saturday, you did not lose visits, you lost room nights or tour seats nobody w…

03

A site with last year rates costs you the booking

Tourism businesses in Cancun change pricing more often than almost any other sector. Low season, high season, Easter week, summer, long weekends, year end: each block has its own rate, its own minimum stay restrictions a…

04

Your photo gallery is what is slowing you down

Nearly every slow site we optimize in Cancun has the same culprit: photos. A hotel or operator needs to show rooms, beach, pool, restaurant and activities, and ends up with galleries of forty enormous images loading all…

05

On a site that takes money, trust is the product

Web security carries different weight when your page receives payments from strangers three thousand kilometers away. In Cancun we handle two recurring problems.

06

Where your server lives matters more than you think

A Cancun tourism business faces two infrastructure decisions almost nobody makes consciously, and both cost money. The first is location: if your visitor arrives from the United States or Canada and your server sits some…

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions 😎

What does a website cost in Cancun?+

Mostly it depends on whether you need a booking engine and how many languages. A well-built informational site in two languages is a contained project. A site with real-time availability, integration with your reservation system and three languages is a different scale. We quote in parts so you decide what belongs in phase one and what can wait.

How many languages should our site have?+

Spanish and English always. The third depends on your actual guest mix: if you receive many visitors from francophone Canada, Brazil or Europe it can be worth it, but only if you will keep it updated. An abandoned third language with old pricing does more harm than not having it, and it is a mistake we see often in this market.

Can we stop depending on booking platforms?+

Depend less, yes. Eliminating them entirely rarely makes sense because they are also your discovery channel. The realistic goal is shifting a share of bookings to your direct channel, where your margin lives, and for that the guest needs a concrete reason: a better rate, an amenity, cancellation flexibility, something the platform cannot match.

Should we charge in dollars or pesos?+

Display in the visitor currency and charge in whichever is operationally best for you. For a United States buyer, seeing the price in dollars dramatically reduces abandonment because they do not have to do mental conversion or worry about their bank fee. What matters is that the exchange rate and any surcharge are visible before payment.

What happens if the site goes down in high season?+

That is exactly the scenario monitoring exists for. The alert fires automatically and gets handled without waiting for you to report it, because every hour counts here. What should be defined in advance is the fallback: where visitors are directed while it is resolved, usually a reservations phone or WhatsApp, so you do not lose someone who had already decided.

How far ahead should we send seasonal rates?+

Ideally the full year block, or at minimum the next quarter. What causes the most damage in this market is loading high season rates on the day high season starts, because the guest booking two months ahead already saw the wrong price and already decided. We work from an advance calendar and you simply confirm.

We need many photos to sell. Will optimizing ruin them?+

No, and it is a fair concern in this sector. Modern formats applied properly cut weight by more than half with no visible difference on screen, and lazy loading means only the images the visitor actually reaches get downloaded. You can keep all forty photos; what changes is that all forty no longer download before the first one appears.

How long to clear the Google warning?+

Cleanup usually resolves in hours or a couple of days depending on site size, and the Google review typically responds within twenty-four to seventy-two hours after it is requested. In high season it is worth handling immediately even on a weekend, because every day the warning stays live is booking traffic lost entirely.

Where should our server be located?+

Near your visitors, not near your business. If most of your traffic comes from North America, a well-connected server toward that region with a content delivery network will serve better than a local one. It is one of the easiest things to improve and one of the least often checked, because from Cancun the site always feels fast.

Do you serve the entire Cancun area?+

Yes. We work with businesses in Cancun and the surrounding area —Zona Hotelera, Centro, Puerto Cancún, Av. Tulum, Punta Cancún— remotely and on-site when the project requires it.
