A WordPress website with a booking engine and custom development for Maraica, a boutique hotel in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit, now part of Casa Mamica: direct, commission-free booking in a town with a very marked high season.
San Pancho is a town with an identity of its own and a high season that decides the year: from November to Easter it fills with guests from the US, Canada, Guadalajara and Mexico City, and every booking that arrives through Airbnb or Booking takes a commission that weighs on a boutique hotel. Maraica had the personal service and the location, but depended on the platforms to sell. The challenge was to give it a site of its own with an integrated booking engine, dates, availability and confirmation without leaving the page, the information a guest compares before deciding, and the custom development its operation needed, so that repeat and word-of-mouth bookings stayed in-house. Today the hotel is marketed as part of Casa Mamica, and the site carries the notice of that transition.
Website, booking engine and custom development: everything a boutique hotel needs to sell direct.
In San Pancho the high season decides the year, and every direct booking leaves far more than one that arrives through a platform.
Maraica is a boutique hotel in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit, now part of the Casa Mamica family. The business is nightly occupancy in a town with an identity of its own and a very marked high season, November to Easter, with guests from the US, Canada, Guadalajara and Mexico City, where a direct booking leaves far more margin than one that arrives through Airbnb or Booking.
Its strength is the location in a town with character and the personal service of a boutique hotel. We built the WordPress site with an integrated booking engine, dates, availability and confirmation without leaving the page, the information a guest compares before deciding, direct contact and the custom development the internal operation required.
It competes with Airbnb and with the boutique hotels of San Pancho and Riviera Nayarit. We positioned the hotel name and "boutique hotel in San Pancho" to capture the guest who searches the town by name, and left the site ready for the brand transition to Casa Mamica, which today also sells from casamamica.mx.
