The challenge

Let the appointment book fill itself

A salon with more than 25 years in Yaletown needs no introduction in its neighborhood: it needs the book to fill without someone answering the phone, the products it recommends in the chair to be available online, and to show up when someone new to Vancouver searches for "hair salon Yaletown". The Lounge had the reputation, a team of licensed stylists and a wide menu, haircuts, custom colour, balayage, keratin, perms, Japanese straightening, colour correction and Great Lengths, tape-in and Bellami extensions, but all of it lived on an outdated page. The challenge was to build the site with online booking and a store, rank it, run paid campaigns in season and operate it continuously as webmaster, so the salon never had to think about its website again.
