Running Club

FLUX Run Club

A brand website for FLUX, a Puerto Vallarta run club and training brand built around an idea, "from first step to flow state", rather than a catalog of classes: problem, concept, four pillars, value proposition, three ways into flow and an events section.

The challenge

It does not sell a class, it sells a state

FLUX does not compete with gyms: it competes with the idea of training without meaning. Its diagnosis is that training today is saturated with noise and intensity without direction, and that the problem is not discipline but the lack of guidance; its promise is "it is not about training more, it is about training better". That is a concept, not a service, and a site with a class schedule and prices would have killed it. The challenge was to build a page that felt like that experience, rhythm, focus, fewer interruptions, explained the concept in the order it is thought (the problem, what FLUX is, the four pillars, the value proposition, the three ways in) and made clear who it does not compete with and in which territory it does, with a memorable identity and an events section as the recurring engine.

  • The brand sells a concept (flow) and a training philosophy, not a class schedule
  • Community and experience instead of a traditional membership
  • Four pillars to explain without sounding like a gym: frictionless movement, managed energy, steady rhythm and mental focus
  • An audience that already trains and is looking for something different: "for those who already got it"
  • Competition for attention with gyms, CrossFit and informal social media clubs
The solution

What we built

A brand site with a rhythm of its own: large typography, numbered sections that breathe and a single idea per screen.

  • "From first step to flow state" home page with the mantra ticker: no pressure, just progress, stay in flow, flow isn't a pace, it's a place
  • Section 01 "The problem: effort without direction", with the chain motivation → frustration → dropout and the new metric, sustainability
  • Section 02 "What FLUX is: when everything flows" with the four pillars: frictionless movement, managed energy, steady rhythm and mental focus
  • Section 03 "Value proposition: fewer interruptions, more continuity", with four benefits
  • The three ways into flow: guided training, performance assessment and sensory experiences
  • Positioning block "FLUX does not compete where the others fight" (what we do not compete on / what we do) and "it is a territory, not a campaign"
  • Events section as the recurring engine of visits and community sign-up
  • A dark, editorial one-pager with its own CSS, built to be read on a phone
Our approach

A training brand before a club

FLUX sells a state, not a schedule; the site has to feel like that state.

01

Business model

FLUX is a run club and training brand in Puerto Vallarta with guided training, performance assessment, sensory experiences, events and community. The business is built on the brand itself, memberships, events, partnerships, merch, and on a philosophy: "it is not about training more, it is about training better", aimed at people who already train and want something different.

02

Strengths we leveraged

Its strength is the "from first step to flow state" concept and a memorable identity. We designed a dark, editorial one-pager that explains the concept in the order it is thought, the problem, what FLUX is, the four pillars, the value proposition, the three ways in, with large typography, numbered sections that breathe, a positioning block that says who it does not compete with and the events section as the recurring engine of visits.

03

Competition & positioning

It competes for attention with gyms, CrossFit and informal social media clubs. We positioned "run club Puerto Vallarta" and "training in Puerto Vallarta" with the events content and a brand that sticks, to turn the visitor who arrived out of curiosity into a member of the community.
